In 1985, Marian A. Hand, Reverend Ray Smith’s mother, organized the inaugural Federation Towers Thanksgiving Banquet, an event that promotes gratitude and service among our community’s most senior members. Today, the Ray-E Foundation honors Marian A. Hand’s spirit of service by continuing to organize and promote the banquet at one of Hattiesburg’s oldest assisted living complexes.
